Rehman has raised concerns about the use of armed drone strikes in foreign countries, including Pakistan and Afghanistan.
Whilst drones have the potential to protect our armed forces, Rehman believes that we need to ensure that there are adequate safeguards in place to prevent civilian casualties.
In Parliament, Rehman has campaigned for greater transparency over the use of drone strikes and has asked questions about the Government’s alleged support for the United State’s drone strike programme though the sharing of intelligence.
In November 2012, Rehman held a Westminster Hall Debateon the UK’s policy on drones.
