Rehman completed his ninth half marathon for a local charity on Monday (25 August 2014) raising hundreds of pounds.
The local MP took part in the Canterbury half marathon to raise funds for Home-Start Medway, a charity which helps to support families during difficult times.
Thanks to a number of donations, including from the Gillingham Tesco store, Rehman managed to raise £500 to support the local charity.
Despite the challenging weather, Rehman completed the 13 mile run in his personal best time of 1 hour 33 minutes.
Previously he has run in support of St Margaret's church roof fund, Gillingham Hands and Age Concern Medway.
Rehman said:
"Home-Start Medway plays such an important role in many families’ lives and I am pleased that I was able to assist them by running a half marathon.
"The Canterbury run was particularly challenging given the tough hilly terrain and poor weather but I managed to set a new personal record of 1 hour 33 minutes."
