Rehman held his first MP Street Surgery in Gillingham High Street after the General Election.

Rehman, accompanied by local councillors, thanked residents for their support and listened to their priorities.

Rehman held his first MP Street Surgery in Rainham after the General Election, in which Rehman was re-elected for the 4th time as Gillingham & Rainham's MP.

Rehman re-elected as MP for Gillingham & Rainham

Rehman was delighted to be elected as the Member of Parliament for Gillingham and Rainham for the 4th time, in the 2019 General Election.

He was elected with 28,173 votes (61.3%) and a majority of 15,119. This is an increase in majority of 5,869 votes.

Rehman meets PM Boris Johnson

Rehman met the Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, today, and thanked him for all the fantastic work he is doing leading this country and achieving what others said he could not achieve: he had the “backstop” removed from the EU Deal. 

Rehman backs Lindsay Hoyle as new Speaker

Rehman backed Lindsay Hoyle in the contest to elect a new Speaker for the House of Commons. In his 9 years as Deputy Speaker, Lindsay Hoyle has always been fair and impartial.

Rehman was back out on the doorsteps in Gillingham (where he grew up and went to School) meeting local residents and taking up matters on their behalf.

Rehman watched the Gills's match against Rotherham United at MEMS Priestfield Stadium on Saturday. Always good to watch the Gills' fighting spirit despite the disappointing result this time around.
