Rehman, in the Foreign Secretary's Ministerial Statement on 'update to the Government’s response to the forced labour in Xinjiang', asked Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab if the UK will use its Presidency of the UN Security Council in February 2021 and its hosting of the G7 later this year to raise the issue of forced labour in Xinjiang, China and the wider topic of freedom of religion or belief with international partners, to demonstrate the UK's strong leadership on taking firm, decisive action.
