Today Rehman Chishti joined Kent police force as they carried out early morning arrests and searches in Medway, infiltrating a major organised drug supply network.
The strike took place following a three month intelligence led operation, and the operation forms part of Kent Police’s ongoing action to tackle illegal drugs.
Kent Police will also be making use of virtual court technology, which serves as a link between police and magistrates, in order to charge those involved in this drug network more swiftly.
Rehman commented: “Kent police do a fantastic job in making our streets safe. I was delighted to join them this morning on an early morning dawn raid.
"I saw first-hand their good work in bringing to account those who destroy our communities with the supply and possession of drugs
I look forward to working with them to rid our streets of drugs and those people who bring them onto our streets”
