Rehman was elected co-Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Runaway and Missing Children and Adults, with Baroness Hamwee serving as the other Co-Chair.

In 2018/19, approximately 176,000 people were reported missing and the APPG will aim to champion and raise awareness of this crucial cause.
