Rehman has previously taken up the case of the former medical director, Mr Gulzar Mufti, who says he was subject to bullying at Medway Maritime Hospital.
The annual NHS staff survey has also reported that bullying in Medway is higher than the national average and Rehman has raised this issue in Parliament.
In meetings with the Health Trust, Rehman has been pleased to see that they are taking the issue very seriously and putting measures in the place to address bullying as part of their commitment to providing excellent quality care for patients.
