Honour violence

There have been a number of cases of so-called ‘honour violence’ in the UK, where crimes are committed against people to protect the honour of the family or the community.

Rehman has raised the profile of this issue by asking in Parliament what is being done to protect people from such attacks.  In an article, Rehman has argued that police forces should have to record incidents of honour based violence so that we can better understand the scale of the problem.
