Rehman has been part of the long-running campaign to save Capstone Valley from development. He supports the protection of the area as an important green lung in Medway and has fought proposals to build more than 9,000 homes on Capstone Valley.
He also opposes developments in Otterham Quay Lane and has raised strong objections to proposals to build 500 homes.
