Back in Parliament, Rehman spoke in debate on Cats calling parity in legislation in the event of the accident. Currently Cats are omitted from the protections that dogs enjoy, despite being much loved members of our families. Rehman called or the Government to amend the Road Traffic Act 1988 to include cats, with regards to stopping and reporting after an accident as is the case with dogs.
