Rehman met with the Secretary of State for Transport Chris Grayling to welcome the new government bill which will regulate the use of laser pens. This follows Rehman's Private Members Bill from last year on laser pen regulation.
Rehman attended the Arthritis Research UK parliamentary reception where he was briefed on the situation of arthritis in Medway. He was also shown exercises that can help people who suffer from arthritis.
Rehman attended the MQ Mental Health charity drop-in session, which promotes research into Mental Health. Previously Rehman has introduced Mental Health Bills to Parliament and is Vice Chair of the APPG for Mental Health.
Rehman had a good meeting with the team from Kings College London's Institute of Psychiatry and the Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK where they discussed Mental Health Collaboration between the UK and Pakistan.
Rehman met with Fiona Loud from the British Kidney Patient Association where they discussed organ transplantation, with a focus on kidneys - there are currently 5000 people on the NHS Organ Transplant Waiting list awaiting a new kidney.
