Rehman presented prizes to students at Rainham Mark Grammar School on Friday (16 November 2012) for their anti-bullying poster competition.
The School is taking part in the National Anti-Bullying week which starts next Monday (19th November), with a schedule of events and activities to highlight the serious issue of bullying.
This year’s theme is “we’re better without bullying” and the phrase had to be a key feature of the posters. Copies of the winning posters will appear in tutor rooms and around the School for the next year.
Rehman commented:
"I was delighted to present the prizes for the anti-bullying poster competition at Rainham Mark Grammar School. It is important to engage students on this important issue and the events and activities the School has organised for Anti-Bullying Week will encourage everyone to consider how bullying can affect young people."
