Rehman was delighted to be elected as the Member of Parliament for Gillingham and Rainham for the 4th time, in the 2019 General Election.
He was elected with 28,173 votes (61.3%) and a majority of 15,119. This is an increase in majority of 5,869 votes.
In his speech on election night, Rehman thanked the great people of Gillingham & Rainham for re-electing him and thanked his campaign team. He also said that the election of a Conservative majority government would mean getting Brexit done and more investment in our healthcare, education and law & order.
