During National Apprenticeship Week Rehman extended his thanks and appreciation to all the local businesses and key stakeholders such as MC Personnel for their support of providing new skills and opportunities for 9,460 apprenticeships placements since May 2010 in Gillingham & Rainham.
On January 30th, Rehman was interviewed by ITV News Meridian in which he raised his campaign for a new hospital for Medway. Having previously secured £31 million of investment into our local healthcare services since 2010, a new hospital for Medway is one of Rehman's top priorities.
On January 27th, Rehman joined forces with our Kent Police & Crime Commissioner, Matthew Scott, and local councillors for a street surgery in Gillingham High Street, meeting with residents and listening to their concerns.
Rehman was honoured to welcome Lt General Sir Chris Tickell KBE, the Former Deputy Chief of General Staff and now HM Chief Royal Engineer, to the House of Commons on 10th January.
Rehman held a regular street surgery in Rainham, meeting local residents and taking up matters on their behalf with brilliant members of the local Conservative team.
Rehman had the honour of visiting the Air Ambulance Charity for Kent, Surrey and Sussex Redhill Airbase to learn more about their life-saving work. He especially thanked Lola and everyone at KSSX who welcomed him.
Rehman voted to support amendment NC27 brought forward by Diana Johnson MP on Contaminated Blood Compensation to get the government to take urgent action to get compensation to those affected by contaminated blood. He has previously worked with constituents who need justice.
