Rehman Chishti welcomes exchange students to parliament

Rehman was delighted to welcome students from Rain Mark Grammar School, Chatham Grammar School for Girls and their counterparts from Japan to parliament. The students are taking part in an exchange programme, facilitated by wonderful Martin and Sue. 

Rehman Chishti visits Air Ambulance Charity

Rehman had the honour of visiting the Air Ambulance Charity for Kent, Surrey and Sussex to learn more about their life-saving work. Last year, they responded to over 3,200 emergency calls, with 42% of those occurring in Kent.

Rehman had the pleasure of visiting the Howard School on A-level results day, to congratulate students and staff on all their hard work. Rehman met the Headteacher, Mr Johal and proudly wished students every success for the future.

Rehman was thrilled to meet Chris, a brilliant constituent from Gillingham who has invented the game Kerb it, based on the classic 80s street game. Chris's invention is terrific for fitness and fun for all ages, the young in schools, or out in the community.

Medway Hospital receives extra £3.85 million

Rehman was excited to hear that Medway Hospital has been chosen as 1 out of 30 hospitals to be granted £3.85 million in additional funding for emergency care. This will help reduce waiting lists.

Rehman had a great time at Gillingham FC's first home game of the season. The players gave a terrific performance and the fans provided a great atmosphere. Rehman wishes the Gills a fantastic season ahead in the league and cups, following a top result against Championship side Southampton
